| Hi there guys. I am very much interested in learnign more about the country of the Philippines most especially about the best places to go for a vacation in there. I have heard that there are lots of tourists in Angeles City. What could there be to expect in the said place? I do hope that you could all share here any good tips and suggestions. | Philippines is simply amazing. It has lots of beautiful spots and travel destinations that tourists keep on coming back for. It is also rich in mineral resources. I have been to several places in the places like Cebu, Manila, Tagaytay, and Davao but I am really looking forward to go to Angeles City because I heard a lot of wonderful stories about the place. | Clark Field is located in Angeles City, Pampanga. It used to be a US Air Force Base but since the Americans left the area, the local government has converted it into a a special economic and freeport zone. It has become a tourist spot where families, foreigners and local residents can go to do business or pleasure. You can play golf, go to the water them park and relax in one of their leisure hotels. |
| Well, sure, Angeles City does have a lot of tourist attractions, though its main economy used to be based on the American base that was there, but since it had to pull out in recent years due to the volcano eruption, that city has struggled to get fully back on its feet. It's a classic example of what happens to a former American base city, as Americans in an area do really boost the economy. |
