| FS: Zalameda PaintingsI'm selling works by Oscar de Zalameda. These are two paintings that go hand in hand with each other. Both are 15x19 inches, 1957 Paris, but acquired in NY, gouash. Titles are: "Fishes in the Sea" and "Sailboats." The abstract paintings were done when the artist was striving. His later works are in cubism. |

| I believe just like many artists/painters like Leonardo Da Vinci, Oscar de Zalemada must have had a past that we know almost nothing of. I read Dan Brown's Da Vinci's Coode and found interesting revelations about Da the painter. Bruce, kindly describe what the paintins are all about and quote a price range of the same. You could even tell the forum if there is a negotiating and price and whether you can be contacted physically. Is there a museum where his work can be sampled and are those paintings his original work? |

I am the Filipino/Amercan cousin of Oscar. I met Oscar in 1966 NY City and traveled with him across the US and on to Mexicao City. I was trainded as an artist and still paint but have earned a living in advertising. I was dafted to Viet Nam from Mexico in 1967. Oscar has visited NY a couple of time since then: 1982 and 2000 before 9/11. I'm trying very much to get in touch with him once more I've never been to the Philippines. if anyone know how can contact him look me up on facebook. thanks, Richar Veloso |
