Did you know that a mistiza (half filipina half dutch) was a contestant on Australian Idol last year 2005, and made it to the Top 19 as a Wildcard finalist.

She was amazing!! Very talented, and funny too! i'm sure the filipino in The Philippines would adore her.

Are there any filipinos in the next American Idol that starts televising here in a few weeks? There are many filipinos living in the United States. Filipinos are very gorgeous girls, I wonder if we have any talented ones auditioning this season?

there is a FILIPINO on the latest American Idol final 24 line-up, his name is AJ TABALDO.

That's no surprise to know at all. A lot of talented "kababayans" are making it through international contest nowadays. Jasmine Trias should be one of the best example, making it to the top 3 finalist of the American Idol.
