Filipinos are known for their exemplary in different kinds of sports. Being the persevering Pinoys that we are, a lot of awards and recognitions from different sports body have been won by the fellows. The latest would be the SEA Games held in Thailand wherein they showcased their powers and prowess. Some Filipinos are also world known when it comes to sports, most especially in the field of bowling. Paeng Nepomuceno was appointed the Bowling amabassador of the world. In his name are hundreds of world records and trophies for the said sports.

Some of the known sports in the Philippines is Baketball, Badminton, Swimming, Rowing, Golf, Soccer, Bowling, and more. And oh, before I forgot, BOXING has recently been the pride sports of the country with Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao topping the bill for this field beating all the opponents he had come across including all of Mexico's same known fighters in his weight division.
