Hi Mr. Edward! It would depend on your preferences. If you want a place that is more laid back I suggest you consider Tagaytay. It is already in the oustskirts of Metro Manila but its a lot cooler and more relaxed. If you love recreation such golf...the alabang area would be convenient. Ayala Alabang is a high end village in the Philippines where they have their own countryclub. Most expats live here as the area is well secured and maintained. If you plan to work here, I suggest living in a condo in Makati or Fort Taguig would be the place as this areas belong the the business district of the Manila. These are just my suggestions! Hope I was able to help you in any way! :)

Do you any plan to invest? Consider Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, Palawan and Davao. I recommend yout have invest a small business in the Philippines at the same time enjoying your vacation in the Philippines. The properties here are cheap.
