I would like to learn more about the average daily life of a Filipino. Do the homes all have electricity, gas, cable, and phones like in the United States? Do people work an average 8-5 job, or longer or shorter hours? Do you have to be at least 16 to get a job?

Filipinos have 8 to 5 jobs yes, some in shifts like in any other countries for doctors, nurses, call centers. Very normal life like in any other country. Philippines or Filipinos are very americans in culture. Also, like in any other countries, there are poor people, meaning some cannot afford internets or buy their own computers or let alone send kids to school. But most people here have cellphones and use a lot of sms. Everybody is able to send english sms. If you want to know more, just check out makati websites.
