Could anybody here suggest any good retirement place in the beautiful country of the Philippines? I know some places in the said country but still I would want to hear from all of you guys regarding the best destinations for retirees in there. I really hope to hear from all of you soon. Any good links would be a lot of help. Thanks a lot and have a great day ahead to all of you.

Hi there!

I have been in the Philippines all my life and everything about it is my concern. With regards to the retirement processes and papers are concern, I have no idea at all. My aunt is a public school teacher and next year, she is planing to retire and it will be a big help if I can have a little info about this matter.

Thanks you so much to all of you guys and have a great day to all!

My aunt is a retiring teacher and she wanted me to follow up all the necessary things that will grant her a retirement benefit for almost 30 years in service. I really admire her for having that long term of job well, I guess, she never termed it as a job only, but her life as well, and I am proud of her. I hope I can be like her too.

The Philippines is wonderful nation. There are a lot of natural resources that will bring life satisfaction. In fact, a lot of foreigners are enticed to settle in the Philippines and spend their retirement period there. Well I am truly convinced. You can live a simple and worthwhile living in the Philippines.

I myself desire to settle and live in the Philippines and enjoy life to the fullest. Great day.

I think the point of this forum is about the Canon Philippine President retiring and not so much about other retiring in the phillipines. Though, undoubtedly the Philippines are a wonderful place to retire with their beautiful beaches, jungles, people and climate.

The article did not really mention where the Canon CEO will retire, did it? I wonder if he is going to choose his native islands or go somewhere else?
