I have read that the terrorism in Samar is very high. I guess this really isn't one of the better vacation destinations. It seems like this could be a very violent area. If anyone else has more information on this feel free to post it!

Hear I have heard about that, but not from any locals, and I have not visited either. I wonder what they think of Samar Island?
