The Philippines is one of the best places to see whale sharks. I think that December through February are the best months to see them. I won't be there until March so do you think I have much of a shot at seeing one, and how dangerous are they? I know they are huge and I would love to see one!

I heard that they are pretty gentle and a filter feeder so you shouldn't have to worry too much about being in danger as long as you are in a boat. I have no idea how likely it is for you to spot one during March though! In Canada I've spotted Killer Whales out in sea. It's always so amazing to see something so huge.

I would be happy to see any kind of shark, but a blue whale is one that I want to see really bad because we learned a lot about them when I was in fourth grade. I hope you get to see one! It would be cool if you could get some pictures for proof so people believe you.

The whale sharks or commonly known in the Philippines are tame sea beasts (sharks) which can usually be found passing by the vast seas of Donsol, Sorsogon. Local tourism has been booming ever since the discovery of these giants harmoniously passing through the archipelagic seas of the Philippines.Watch one group's documentation about their experience swimming (snorkeling) together with a whale shark in Donsol.
